# Ingredient List:

→ Steak & Marinade

01 - 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

→ Aromatics & Herbs

06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
08 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
09 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

→ Optional Garnish

10 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# How-to Steps:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine steak cubes with olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Toss thoroughly and allow to marinate at room temperature for a minimum of 10 minutes.
02 - Heat a large skillet, preferably cast iron, over medium-high heat.
03 - Arrange steak cubes in a single layer in the hot skillet, cooking in batches if needed. Sear undisturbed for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
04 - Reduce the heat to medium. Push steak bites to one side of the pan and add butter and garlic. Stir until the garlic becomes fragrant, approximately 30 seconds.
05 - Toss steak bites together with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley and thyme. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges as desired.

# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • You'll have fewer dishes to wash than almost any steak dinner you've ever tried.
  • The rich flavors develop fast, so you can enjoy a restaurant vibe without the hassle.
02 -
  • If you overcrowd the pan, the steak bites steam instead of sear—I learned the hard way.
  • Adding garlic before butter often burns it—waiting makes a world of difference.
03 -
  • Letting steak rest after marinating gives you juicier bites every time.
  • The secret is adding garlic after the steak's seared—not before.
